How are unique pre-made themes different from normal pre-mades?
“Normal” pre-made themes are designed, put up for sale, then anyone can buy them. There is no limit on the number of people who can purchase that theme. As a result, there may be 100 people with the same theme!
Unique pre-made themes are designed, put up for sale, then sold once. Only one person gets to keep the theme! And in addition to purchasing the theme, you are also buying a certain amount of customization from the designer (me!). I will edit the header to add in the name of your blog, tagline (if applicable), and perform a few customizations at your requests (changing fonts, colours, etc.).
The theme may be pre-made, but you will be the only person who gets it, and I will customize and install it for you to fit your blog!
Why are they more expensive than normal pre-mades?
Normal pre-made themes are cheap because they can be sold multiple times. But since unique themes can only be sold once, the price reflects that. You are also paying for a certain degree of customization and installation on your blog.
What platform(s) are the themes compatible with?
Like the other pre-mades, unique themes are for self-hosted WordPress only. They are NOT compatible with Blogger or WordPress.com blogs.
How does the process work?
- Pick a theme you like, add it to your cart, and complete the payment process.
- Then email me with the following information:
- The name of your blog
- Your tagline (if there’s a spot for it in the design)
- A list of any tweaks you’d like me to make (change fonts, colours, etc.)
- I will make your requested changes and code the design (~2-3 days)
- I will put the design on a test site for you to view/approve
- I will install the design on your blog
How much am I allowed to customize?
When you buy a unique theme, you’re also paying for a certain degree of customization. By default, you will get the following customized:
- The logo/header will be edited with the name of your blog.
- The tagline area will be edited with your specific tagline (if applicable—not all themes have a spot for this).
- If the theme comes with an “about the author” area/graphic, it will be customized with your name/photo.
You can also request a few small changes to the design if you want, including:
- Changing the fonts
- Changing the colours
- Adding/removing a sidebar
However, no large design changes may be made (unless you pay extra). For example, you cannot request major modifications to the header or other graphics that make up the bulk of the design. If you have any questions about what customizations can be made, please contact me.

CREDITS
All designs will come with a credit link to Creative Whim in the footer. This link must remain intact.
PAYMENT
All payments are final. Refunds may only be requested if the customization process has not yet begun. Once the customization process begins, no refunds will be offered.
